A loss adjuster represents the Insurance Company

A loss assessor represents the policy holder

Brokers do not generally get involved in the claims process

Is this a question looking for an answer or trying to elicit a response from outside?

If the former I am happy to respond as I act as a loss adjuster mostly but as an adjuster am also involved in claims presentation (on behalf of the Insured entity).  Adjusters work predominantly for Underwriters/Insurers/reinsurer and so on and are paid either on the basis of a scale fee or on a hourly rate.  Assessors work for the Insured entity and normally charge a percentage of the achieved settlement, although some also charge on an hourly basis.

Assessors fees tend not to be recoverable under the insurance policy although there are some insurance schemes out there covering the cost of such claims representation on behalf of the claimant.

Hope this helps.

Sandy.
